Max function for StoEx

Sometimes when you substract two PDFs/PMFs, you may get negative values, which cause problems with the simulation. This could be avoided if a max function is supported. E.g. max(0, ...)

You are right, Max (and not max) is working in stable. I didn't notice it, because it wasn't supported by autocompletion or the documentation. Thank you. Case closed.

To highlight a litte-known feature of StoEx: You can plug in additional "black box" functions. This has already been used in the past, i.e. to add support for Max functions.

"Max ( value1 , value2 )" will already work in the nightly so the feature request should be obsolete. I am pretty sure this is already supported in 3.5 stable, although I must say I haven't really used the stable version in ages.

Hi Christian, where are the extensions? Are they integrated into the nightly? How can they be used? I ran into the problem of not having a max function while using 3.5 stable. I looked into the metamodel and it didn't contain any. However, i didn't look for extensions.
What is wrong with the name of the max function?

Max (sic) should already be supported as part of the function extensions.
